Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your account for The Cooper Method app, published by I Am Darren Cooper Limited, and what happens to your data when you do.

1. Delete it in the app

Open The Cooper Method app and go to Profile > Privacy & Security > Delete Account.

Confirm using the link we email you. Your account and the data linked to it are then permanently deleted.

2. Or ask us to do it

Email us from the address linked to your account and we will delete your account and data for you. We will confirm when it is done, within one month.

Email a deletion request

Or email team@iamdarrencooper.com with the subject line "Account deletion request". We may ask you to confirm your identity before we delete anything.

3. Cancel your subscription too

Deleting your account ends your access to the app. If you have an active subscription, cancel it as well so you are not charged again. If you ask us to delete your account by email, we will cancel any active subscription for you at the same time.

4. What we delete

Your profile and contact details.
Health and fitness information, including onboarding answers, measurements, and check-ins.
Workout, nutrition, and habit logs.
Progress photos, videos, and voice notes.
Messages with your coach.
Your user ID and the device identifiers linked to your account.

5. What we have to keep

Financial and transaction records, such as invoices and payment history, for 6 years, because UK tax law requires it.
Limited records we need to handle a legal claim or prevent fraud, for as long as that need lasts.
Copies in secure backups, which are deleted automatically within 7 days.

Stripe keeps its own payment records under its own legal obligations. See stripe.com/privacy.

6. Delete some data, keep your account

You can ask us to delete specific data, such as progress photos or messages, without deleting your account. Email team@iamdarrencooper.com and tell us what you want removed.

7. Other Cooper Method services
